Well recently I had my first experience from working home. My boss suggested that I did it for a day to work on a special project. I have to say that I love it. Not having to change into my work clothing and drive to work is a big plus. Also I was able to get much more work done, which for some reason I did not expect. The only odd thing is that it feels weird to work from home when work is only a 2 min drive away…

I have been playing so much Fallout 3 lately that now I expect every game to be like it. I recently started playing Breath of Fire for a change of pace, yea I know it is as old as hell, and I am looking at it completely different than I normally would. I have been going through every home thinking I could loot its contents. Also I keep on thinking I can have a conversation with random people. I met the boss in a dungeon and he said something like “Who are you?” and went right in the battle. I was like,”Hey I did not get to reply! Oh wait….” I guess playing a game 16 hours straight will do that….

I have always been a fan of optional objectives in video games ever since I have first seen them. It gives you the choice between a more difficult path or just finish the primary objectives. Yesterday I was playing a game that had me planting a surveillance device in a building. It was not going to be hard but the optional objective made it a whole lot tougher; I could not kill a single person during the whole mission. I have never been a sneaky person and this mission proved it. I did not only failed the optional objective, I killed every single person in the building. Thank god that it was an optional objective or I would have never completed it. The surveillance is up but I don’t know how much use it will be…

Sorry for the long wait but I hit an unexpected situation. A little while back my monitor died; my second monitor died to be exact. I got fed up with all the failures this computer was giving me I bought a new one that day. I was planning to get one anyway but the death of my monitor really sped up the process. I have always been a pc person but this time I went mac. I got myself a 20 inch imac and I am loving every little bit of it. Luckily I know some people that own a mac so I have someone to ask my stupid questions to. Nothing like asking someone where the headphone jack is…

When driving to work today something came on the radio that got me thinking. Every time a school bus driver is going to be late it is announced on the radio. That must suck for the bus driver. Think of every time you were late to work that the whole world was told that you were late. No late morning sneak ins to work for him…

I honestly have no clue where I got my vocabulary. The only books I have read were for my education and I am far from being a master linguist. However from time to time I just bust out a word that I did not even know. Well I must have known it but did not know that I knew it. That last sentence shows how good of a word smith I am. Anyway the word I pulled out in a conversation was, trepidation. After the coveration I had to look it up to make sure I used it correctly. At least it was not as weird as when I busted out, poltergeist…

I have been bouncing from place to place, job to job due to being in university. Out of everything to get used to the most annoying thing to get accustomed to is the microwave. It seems that every microwave is different in so many ways; from how to input the cook time and other info to how long you are suppose to cook the damn food. Put a bag of popcorn in a microwave for the first time you will end up with a bag half full of kernels or a massive smelly burnt clump of what used to be popcorn. If you like games of chance try cooking stuff in a microwave for the first time…

So I was in a public washroom recently and some random person who I paid little attention to walks in and quickly goes into a stall. After I finish my business and begin to wash my hands I hear a jingle of some sort and person quickly saying, “Hello, (person’s name) speaking”. I did not pay attention to the conversation but I mean come on; there are some places you just don’t answer the phone. Also I would not want to come close to that phone if you know what I mean. Must have been an important call…

At my current job I have always been curious on how they came up with my wage. The thing that strikes me as odd is that it is an odd number at the end of it. I get paid such and such dollars and 71 cents an hour. One day I was day dreaming at work thinking about this and I came up with an interesting calculation. Before taxes, a penny an hour is 20.80 dollars a year if you work the standard amount of hours. So that random 71 cents is actually netting me $1,476.80 extra a year. So next time you see your boss ask for a couple cent raise.

So I went for a blood test today and as you know me and normal results just don’t mix. When they were ready to extract blood from me they had a little problem; they could not find a vein. This is nothing new for me, one time when I tried to donate blood I was not able to because they could not physically get any blood out of me. Well this time they had a trick up their sleeve and did something I did not know was possible. They took the blood out of the back of my hand! They took four vials of blood out of the back of my hand. It all worked out but it was pretty odd…
